A short week in the studio, half of which was spent at Walcott Chapel, a small and beautiful exhibition space in the centre of Bath.
I took a small box of materials to the chapel, exploring my practice in other spaces.
The gold frame became something of a focus, with its traditional implications and ability to frame what already exists.
The walls of the chapel are stunning, the space has been a gallery/studio space for a few years and the evidence shows.
I collected dust, created drawings for the first time in months, interacted with the space and had fun with other MA students.
In the studio there were many piles, even more placement and an acorn made of paper.
